The general public is invited to bid on the City of La Quinta surplus equipment. A full listing of the surplus items and bid forms can be obtained by clicking on the link below, emailing MElizalde@LaQuintaCA.gov, or by visiting the City of La Quinta Finance Department at 78-495 Calle Tampico La Quinta, California 92253. The public may also view all of the available items by calling 760-777-7150 for a viewing appointment.

All items are purchased “as is” with no warranty and may generally be in poor condition. After reviewing the list and/or viewing the items, you may submit your sealed bids to the City of La Quinta City Clerk’s Office at 78-495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, California 92253. 

Please include the inventory number(s) on your bid form.

All bids must be in a sealed envelope with the written words “surplus bid” on the envelope to be accepted.

Bids must be turned in no later than Monday, August 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Bids will be opened in the City Hall lobby on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
