Old Town Artisan Studios Veterans Day Program
Local non-profit organization develops programs for area veterans
La Quinta, CA (November 5, 2018): Old Town Artisan Studios (OTAS) announces Veterans Program at dedication ceremony at art campus.
When asked about why she decided to create the Veterans Art program, Old Town Artisan Studios President Victory Grund said, “When the mission of OTAS was first conceived I was personally aware of how focusing on creating through art does heal lives. There is so much documentation of what music, creating in various art mediums and story- telling can do to relieve stress and depression and bring new awareness of what is good in our world”. She went on to say, “November 11this to honor our Veterans and families and to celebrate a partnership with the City of La Quinta, foundations and individuals who wish to bless our hero’s with the opportunity to “experience” art as a gift from all of us. Regular art programs are now created to give them hands on art”.
