FINAL UPDATE 11:01 a.m:  The gas leak has been mitigated. Resources will remain on-scene for approximately 45-minutes. No injuries have been reported.  

 Please be advised that crews are responding to a gas leak on Washington Street between Avenue 47 and Avenue 48. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is currently on-site assisting with traffic control.

There is no danger to the public, but we ask that you avoid the area to allow first responders and utility partners to work safely.

Location: Washington St (Avenue 47 to Avenue 48)

Action: Please use alternate routes such as Jefferson Street or Adams Street.
