REQUESTED SERVICES

 INTRODUCTION

  1. The City of La Quinta (City) seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide holiday décor services for the city, including interior holiday décor at City Hall, exterior holiday décor on the Civic Center Campus, and exterior holiday décor at the La Quinta Museum, Casita, Lumberyard, Wellness Center, and Library. The following specifications are provided below and are tentative and subject to revision.

  2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Services to be provided:

The contracted party will provide and perform the following services pertaining to the holiday décor for the City of La Quinta:

 City Hall Interior Décor 

  • Install approximately 15 commercial-grade, decorated, and lit-up garlands. Garland is to be placed on designated office desks, counters, and walls.
  • Install approximately 19 spray wreaths with bows to 19 pillars
  • Install 1 photo-op scene area 

City Hall & Civic Center Campus Exterior Décor

  • Install approximately 35 twinkling starburst 24” lights staggard on aircraft cable attached to palm trees in the following areas:
    • Entrance to Civic Center Park
    • First palm tree cluster by the bridge
    • Palm tree cluster by gazebo entrance
    • Palm tree cluster at the entrance of the Wellness Center
  • Install 4 Walk Through Photo-Op lawn displays in designated park areas
  • Install 5 (approximately 60-inch) commercial-grade, decorated, lit-up Wreaths with large bows above all main City Hall entrances.
  • Install a system to play instrumental music throughout

La Quinta Museum, Casita & Lumberyard Exterior Building Décor

  • Install commercial-grade LED lighting in designated roof lines, walls, fences, railings, entryways, windows, and gates.
  • Wrap commercial-grade LED lighting, a minimum of 7 tree trunks, and primary branches
  • Wrap 7 pillars with LED commercial-grade lighting  
  • Install commercial-grade garland in designated areas with red bows
  • Install 4 commercial-grade LED lit-up wreaths
  • Install commercial-grade LED lighting in the courtyard planters

Wellness Center & Library Exterior Building Décor

  • Install commercial-grade LED lighting in designated roof lines, walls, fences, railings, entryways, windows, and gates.
  • Install commercial-grade LED lit-up wreaths in designated entrances
