How can I get a copy of the City Council/Successor Agency and/or Housing Authority Meeting Minutes?
After the meeting minutes are approved by the City Council / Successor Agency and/or Housing Authority you can download a copy by clicking on the link at the top of the agenda for the desired meeting. The agendas are accessed by clicking on the appropriate meeting in the City Calendar.
How can I request to speak on an agenda item at the City Council/Successor Agency and/or Housing Authority meeting?
You may address the City Council / Successor Agency and/or Housing Authority by completing a Request to Speak form (located at the rear of the Council Chamber) and submitting it to the City Clerk. You may also speak on any matter not on the agenda under Public Comment.
How do I request copies of City Documents?
Complete a Request for Public Records form at the City Clerk's Office. The request should be specific to assist staff in providing the desired document(s). In accordance with the California Public Records Act (Gov. Code Section 7922.535) staff is allowed ten (10) days to research the request and respond.
How do I request Local Officials and Designated Positions Training Records?
The City maintains training certificates records of required trainings completed by local agency officials in designated positions, which are retained for at least five (5) years, and are available upon request as follows: (1) by submitting a Request for Public Records form; (2) by emailing Records@LaQuintaCA.gov; or (3) by contacting the Clerk's Office at (760) 777-7147 [Gov. Code Section 53235.2; Senate Bill 827, Stats. 2025, Ch. 661] .
