La Quinta City Council

The La Quinta City Council serves as the legislative and policy-making body of the City. The Council is comprised of five members and meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. The City Council is responsible for appointment of the City Manager and the City Attorney. It serves as the Board of Directors for the Financing Authority. In addition, the Council serves as the legislative authority for the La Quinta Lighting and Landscaping District.
