The City of La Quinta has a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with the La Quinta City Employees’ Association, which addresses subjects such as wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment of City employees, and all other subjects within the scope of bargaining under the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act (Government Code Section 3500, et seq.).  The current MOU took effect on August 2, 2022, and shall remain in effect through and including June 30, 2027.  Upon expiration of the current MOU, the City of La Quinta and the La Quinta City Employees’ Association will enter into negotiations for revision and update of the MOU, generating a proposal for Council consideration.
