The existing 6-acre Fritz Burns Park is located south of Avenue 52 and east of Avenida Bermudas. The park is adjacent to the City’s Corporate Yard and Fire Station #32; which sit on an additional four (4) acres. The existing park contains a swimming pool, children's play area, picnic tables & benches, men’s and women’s restrooms, 6 tennis courts, 8 pickle ball courts, a water feature, a skate park, a dog park, parking lot and off-street parking. 

Phase 1 begins September 8, 2025 through February 27

Phase 1 will include the following closures:
- Park
- Playground
- 1st Row of Parking Lot (including ADA Parking & Roundabout)
- Dog Park 

Phase 2: November 4 through February 24

Phase 2 will include the following closures:
- Rest of the main parking lot
- Francis Hack Lane parking will NOT be available except in front of skate park and maintenance yard area

Phase 3: November 3 through May 8

Phase 3 will include the following closures:
- Fritz Burns Pool
- Existing restrooms

During this project the following will be accessible:

- Pickleball Courts
- Tennis Courts

Overflow parking will be available in the following locations:

- The remaining spots in the parking lot
- Francis Hack Lane
- Across the street (Avenue 52) in the empty lot
