Workshop Details
City Council and City Staff annually host a Community Workshop. This is an opportunity for residents to get involved and find out what's happening in the Gem of the Desert. Staff present projects and accomplishments from the previous year and outline new projects for La Quinta in the coming year. Residents are able to provide ideas for what the City should work on or improve and vote on the highest priority items. This free event is usually held in person at the La Quinta Wellness Center.
2026 Community Workshop
Join City Council and City Staff for the 2026 Community Workshop on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at the Wellness Center. This year's theme follows our annual State of the City theme of, "La Quinta Forward: Momentum and Milestones" The Community Workshop is an opportunity for residents to get involved and find out what's happening in the Gem of the Desert. This is a FREE event and includes food and refreshments.

2025 Community Workshop
City Council and City Staff welcomed the community to the 2025 Community Workshop on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wellness Center. This year’s workshop followed the State of the City theme, “Elevating Our Future Together.” The Community Workshop provided residents with an opportunity to get involved and learn about what was happening in the Gem of the Desert.
